Thankyou Gernot, this will be fixed in the next release
Re: Right Click in X-Y Take Window crash Beta
I´m now using Beta "9 Jun 2010" and this bug is fixed,
Right-Click now opens the "Take setting".
With the Beta "9 Jun 2010" I found a new problem in the "Take-Window".
When I "take" a moving light to the upper half of the grid and release it I can´t "take" it again to
change the position.

Re: Right Click in X-Y Take Window crash Beta
I can't reproduce this one. Just to verify:
1. You select one of the take buttons
2. you drag the target to the top of the xy grid
3. You select a different take button and adjust the position
4. You go back and select the original take button and you can no longer adjust the position

Re: Right Click in X-Y Take Window crash Beta
Yes Simon you got that right.
You don´t even have to selcet a differend "take button", just put the target in the upper half of the grid and release it.
Now try to move it again...
I also have some new findings to this problem.
After I resize the "Take Window" the Problem went away.
From time to time the issue returns, then I resize again and it will work again.
Unfortunately I can´t see any pattern, if I have new infos on it I will post them here.
I have a other question to the "Take Window".
Is it possible to put the "Take Window" in some kind of live mode ? Like this :
The "Targets" in the grid of the "Take Window" move like the X/Y of the Moving Lights they belong to, so the position of the light beam is alway updated in the Take Window.
When I like to move a Moving Light manually by Hand I select it and this Lamp will no longer follow x/y commands from Scenes or Switches but only react to the Take Window.

Re: Right Click in X-Y Take Window crash Beta
I will keep a look out for the XY window bug.
Regarding the live use of the XY grid. The generated take scenes are set to LTP which means hat the will take priority over any other movement channels. Another option would be to go into the button settings and change it to ADD are SUB so that the position you select on the grid will always be relative to the current position of fixture. this would be useful if you had a moving pattern and wanted to manually raise the lights towards the audience whilest the pattern is still playing.
The live update of a target will not be possible using the page panels, however a live XY panel could be a good idea for the future.

Re: Right Click in X-Y Take Window crash Beta
O.K. , now I found a way to reproduce this, I used latest Beta from "Jun21 2010" :
- Open a new blank show
- Patch, let say, 4 Moving Heads "Geni OBY-5"
- Don´t change anything in the wizard, kept it default
- Open Dimmer and Iris of all four Fixtures
- Now open the preprogrammed Take Window (don´t resize this Window!)
- "Take" Fixture 1 to the upper half of the grid
- "Take" Fixture 2 to the upper half of the grid
- Go back to Fixture 1 and try to "Take" it.
I want to "pick up" the lightbeam of the Fixture in the real world from it´s current position.
When I use a "Take button" the lightbeam of the fixture will immediately jump to the position of the "Target" in the Software or when I use ADD or SUB it jumps relative.

Yes, I tried that, but it´s not what I´m looking for.Regarding the live use of the XY grid. Yes, would like to see it in the future. The live update of a target will not be possible using the page panels, however a live XY panel could be a good idea for the future.
