Do they work toghether? Only with First Class or also with Economy Class?

I have just bought the Bcontrol Rotary, and i have not got it working yet, although i have only been trying for an hour or so. I believe that midi trigger (using bcontrol) is only available in the full version. Best to check on the main site

Midi Triggering works only with First Class Interface

I'm talking about the USB connection? Or is it the same thing? Does it only generate MIDI events?
