Firmware upgrade

Post by MikeR »

Greetings, I wonder if maybe someone can help me.
I became the owner of a Ke1 device when I bought my house. I have no experience of these devices before. However, before I retired I was an IT tech so have seen similar devices.
I have downloaded and installed the ESAPro software and Hardware Manager on my laptop and want to control the KE-1 device.
The device can be seen on my home network by ESApro when connected via ethernet, but tells me I need to upgrade the firmware to continue. It also tells me firmware upgrade must be carried out via USB.
When I connect via USB the device shows up in Windows 10 under device manager. However when I load Hardware Manager or ESAPro I am told it is not connected and I cannot continue.
I have tried multiple USB cables but so far not been able to solve this.
Any help would be gratefully received

Hello,

ESA Pro is no longer supported. You will need to use ESA Pro 2. If you are still experiencing issues with this software, please contact our support team here :
