Can i power the stick -DE3 through the extension socket?
pins 20 (VIN) and pin 18 (GND)
When i measure between the Vin and the normal power plug its not 0 Ohms
Also i think it would be better to have a male version for the extension socket soldered on the board.
so you could use a flatcable pushed on it for easy acsess to the port inputs, and still use the power/dmx plug
which covers the extension socket partly.

Re: EXTENSION socket
Hi PVB,
While it's possible to power the DE3 via the extension socket, we STRONGLY advise against this! As you can see on the datasheet (link below, bottom of Page 2), "VIN pin 20 is not electrically protected and should not be used" :

While it may be okay for testing, it should never be used in an installation. It could kill your Stick-DE3.
Kind Regards,
Nick.
