Hi
akai lpd8, sunlite 20150213
I would like to create a switch where I can map the turn knobs on the lpd8 to amount of Red, Green and Blue.
I am able to control RGB using midi knobs when editing a switch, using "control editor channel fader", but I cant find a way to define three midi knobs thats is able to adjust the amount of Red, Green and Blue, when the switch is active, but not in edit mode.
TIA
Steen

Hi,
I think you can't do that.
You have to create 3 switchs: One for Red, one for Green and one for Blue.
You can assign 1 button per switch as dimmer.

Re: using midi to live control RGB
Yes you assign one color per switch and then assign the midi fader or knob to that switch as a dimmer.
Don't forget to turn off the other colors so the switch will not cancel other switches .
I assign those switches to be always on and then link it to my dimmer on my midi board and then you can color mix your RGB or RGBA lights in real time
I also control my CMY colors this way as well
