Hi,
How much Ethernet network traffic is generated by a UE7 controller set up as a Master sending DMX signals to another UE7 controller set up as a Slave?
If we have 10 UE7 controllers set up as Slaves, would there then be 10 times as much Ethernet traffic?
Also, can the same Ethernet network be used for regular PC web internet traffic, or should it be dedicated just to the UE7 controllers' DMX signal traffic, and nothing else?
Thanks,
John

Re: Ethernet network traffic with UE7
Hi John,
All the data is already written onto the each device (Including Slaves) so only a simple sequence message is sent from the Master to all the Slaves each time a scene is changed. It won't clog up your network and can be used on the same connection as your internet if required.
Hope that helps.
