I just got an FC interface, and when I was using it, there was a ton of lag when it was controlling dimmers, the pan/tilt, color mixing were fine. I brought up my conventionals with a 5 second fade and it was super choppy. I was using a BC controller before and there was no problem. With the FC, there is a ton of lag and delay.

Any ideas on how to fix?

If the pan/tilt is working fine then this isn't a problem with the controller rather your DMX dimmer.

One thing you could try is to change the DMX timings of the BC.
-open hardware manager (found in the Suite2 software directory)
-go to the DMX input/output tab
-you'll see a combo box on the right. Select the 'Slow' preset. This can improve compatibility
