how to assign a dmx channel as a triger to a switch in apage

in sunsuite 1 there was and option to assign a dmx channel to a button in a page by going into the specific button settings and then to trigger setting ,there was an option of checking the dmx input channel box then by adding the dmx channel number you could control the switch directly from the console
this option seems to be missing from the button settings in the sunsuit 2
can you help me please

Hi,
In suite 2 you have to use a console ( "xx Channel DMX" ) to do that. Assign the correct dmx input to fader and choose what you want it to do... as you can do for midi console. It's more efficient than the simple suite 1 affectation.

im sorry but idont understand the solution as to the fact that im using a input dmx console
and i have assigned chanells on faders in use
i can not assign a dmx channel from the console to a created switch

In suite 2 you can't do that using the same way as suite 1.
You must use a dmx virtual console like the midi ones.
