Flickering DMX output by closing editor

Hello,
is it possible to improve the behaviour of the editor during close(+save)?
I often want to edit switches during live operation but every time i close the editor, all fixtures are flickering a short time, it seems that the editor is writing something in a showfile and the DMX output breaks in this time (<1s).
To test this i tried it at home in demo mode and there is the same behaviour.
It would be nice if the unedited fixtues would run liquid.
