Hi,

the multimedia function works for wav files but if i load an mp3 instead just the waveform is displayed but nothing plays.
Even in the Dialog if the small play button is pressed. For wav it works for mp3 not.

Which version? It works fine for me. Is it with all .mp3s?

i tried with a couple of different mp3s. Short Samples and longer thems. However i can try another one eg. downloaded from amazon

I used the actual Beta.

Apparently no changes have been made with the multimedia function, however try the new beta which will be released this week

I did and still the same problem. I now also tryed different mp3s. Short onces from my lib of Halloween Sounds and long onces from eg Amazon.

All the short once i could not get to play. However for the log once i could get one to play and another one not to play. I would have attached but mp3 is denyed.
Also i noticed a few hickup`s when in that Multimedia Dialog. eg. after adding a file i removed it from the disk and when i now go into the File Select Dialog and then close it.
BTW id made no difference if the files where stored local or on my network drive i tested both to exclude path length issues etc.

This one is working:

a few more
1. see the Tool Tip over the button ?! There are sometimes 2 . one is play/stop and the other one says something about the ID3 Tag Format.
2. Sometimes The Waveform doesn't display (for working files). Once you click on the movie icon and back to the speaker it is shown
3. when i come out of the file selection Dialogue the "Stop Button" is display where i guess it should be "Play"

Just for the Rest of the Forum.

- I did send the not working files
- I did a few more tests and once i removed all ID3 tags and the Album Art and the file did play
However the working files do also have id3 Tags and Album Art.
I will furter compare the Tags later today.
