RE-addressing fixtures

I want to re-arrange certain fixtures on my dimmer packs. If I re-patch things do I have to re-program my entire show or will my programming follow the new patch?

Your programming will move with your patch, however I suggest you make a backup before changing the patch! This can be done by saving your show in the show dialog.
