If I open the scanlibrary editor, I load a random ssl2 fixture, I chose 'save as', then I got 'encountered an improper argument' error, then the 'open' window appears with nothing in it. I click cancel and this results in a crash. I don't know if I can send you logfiles?

Yes, but this only seems to happen under Windows 7, I try it on my XP system and it didn´t crash.
On Windows 7 64 Bit it´s like Dojec said.
