Dear Sirs,
I am planning to make a little beatgiver (0-10v) that gives pulses to the input port.
Is it possible that you can change the software easy stand alone that a next step is chosen when a port is getting a pulse ?
Johan

excuse me for bad English, i'm from Russia
I think, that most better, if you connect your device not in to the input port, but to up/down keys. You must use optocouplers (MOC3020, etc): pin 1 & 2 with 360 ohm resistor (for your 10V application) and pins 4 & 6 connect with keys up/down in parallel. It's worked in my solution.

But then you get up/down for the scenes, and not up/down for the steps in the scenes. But it works too.
What I want to do: choose an scene with the up/down and/or ports(1-7 for example), and sync that scene to the music( with port 8 for example)
What do you use as beatgiver ?, also a selve made circuit ?
