Problem with October 16 2006 release

After downloading & installing the above release, a warning message is flashed when the softwear is started " PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE LATEST RELEASE OF THE SOFTWEAR TO USE THIS INTERFACE"
The interface used is SL2048 FC.
Any idea whats wrong!! It was running fine with earlier release.

The first time you use this release (16 Oct), Has the firmware been updated ?

No, the firmwire has not been updated since I have received the interface. My last Interface has been damaged during firmwere update, so if its a necessity, please let me know the process of updating & where to get the update! for SL2048 interface

So your interface works or not ? Is the dmx led flashing ?

I don't understand how the interface could work when the softwear asks me to download the latest version of the software to work with the interface.
The DMX LED dosen't light up at all.
If there is any kind of update required for the interface to run the latest release of
Sunlite 2006 please let me know where to get it & the procedure to update.
