Hi,
I have a single channel DMX unit, that does not support fades. Is there a way to modify effects like perlin or plasma or rainbow (or anything, actually) to not have fades? So when I specify the DMX values, only those are used and not all the ones in between.
Is it even possible?
Thanks,
Andres
How can I modify an effect to not have fades?

Hello,
There is no way to edit this aspect of the ESAPro2 color effects, I'm afraid.
But I'm not sure I understand how you encounter this issue. Is your device only containing channels with a "color wheel"?

Thank you.
I think the way you describe is the best way to explain what I have. It's not a projector, but a DMX unit, that is set up similar to this:
ch1 @ 2 - red
ch1 @ 4 - green
ch1 @ 8 - blue
ch1 @ 6 - black
and a bunch of other options. So, if there is a fade from 4 to 8 instead of a step-in, then there will be a moment of black.
Assuming I have 45 of those units, I was hoping I could make, say, a perlin/raibow effect for values 2, 4 and 8 and the units would change colour in a random pattern.
Manually doing a scene for 45 different timelines is a bit tedious.
