static mode for strobe fixtures?

Hi-
I'm a new user of the software, and new to lighting in general, so maybe i just don't know what i'm doing, but here's my problem-
I'm operating several Chauvet RGB techno strobes, and dataflash 1000 strobes. Both of these units have a static, non-strobing mode, but i can't figure out how to access it through the DMX channels in the software. I can only change the speed of the strobing and the intensity. Does anyone know how to do this?
