hardware question

i have just bought an e:cue nano usb dmx controller which came with a programmer. i cant get my head around the software and i was told that the sunlite software was much easier to use. question is, can i use this software with the e;cue nano hardware.

ok, so i will buy a stand alone software/hardware package. no problem.

i am trying the software at the moment. i have a question. what do i do if my light fixture(showtec octopod 80) is not listed in the showtec folder in the scanlibrary.

For this Example give it the Editor for User-Fixture.
