How can I make a random non-moving fill?

Post by Wibs »

Hi,

I would like to fill my array of lights randomly with specific colours. Each fixture as one colour.
See below. I did this with an JPG, but it would be much easier to change colours directly in ESA Pro2, than to make it in Adobe, export, check, correct, export again...

And the efect is static - it should not move.

How can I do this?

Thanks,
Andres

Hello,

You should be able to create a "RANDOM FILL" effect block on all your fixtures, add a lot of "Phasing" (I would set 100%), and set your effect block to be STATIC from the "properties" section.

Let us know if this works for you !

Regards,

Thank you. This works almost as I would like it to - I need even more phasing than 100%, though :D Currently this makes very big clusters of colour for my taste.
