ESAPRO2 - Advance Lighting Movement

Post by EVOLVEINSTALL »

I know this feature is new,

Can not add a X/Y into the same timeline, so you can not edit a movement with the light fixture on.

X/Y Grid doesn't actually tell you the fixture/s position or phase position

Add Automation on static X&Y - Only have use of the mouse for its position. Unlike Faders where you can make fine adjustments, also what about 16 bit mode?

Hey,

You can add an automation on the dimmer to turn the lights on during editing. Anyways we will implement an option so you can chose to keep showing the full scene while editing one block.

As for the fine editing of PT values, we'll see what can be done.

Understood and works.

Sunlite needs this feature, but the middle cross hair is Home - 50% P&T.

Is there anyway that a reminder can be set to which square you've programmed before? The times i've had to go back and change my 4 points so i don't get a mover flip!

NON BETA - Just played with this again.

Selection Tab

Select my fixtures - drag a Circle/X&Y (do not edit) - Press OK. Timeline added.
Then add the Dimmer to the Automation and then you can edit the shape with the fixture on.

BETA - adds the X&Y to the timeline BEFORE manually opening Editor, - Better, was programming on Official.

Hello,

Sorry for the late answer. We have now added the possibility to de-activate the "selected block preview" feature to always show all the current data. This should allow you to work on X/Y effects with the lights on and see directly the full content of your scene at any given time.

Hope this makes editing nicer for you.

A year on, what's changed....not much

Can see the Screen Phase issue has been fixed in April 2022

Still,

1. Why is there no low light grid?
2. Plays effect in realtime - however why does it not show upon the circle in relatime if we are adjusting (Like S2/S3)
3. Why is there a slide bar and why can you not adjust the pop up screen to fit to size?
4. In terms of Phasing - we can not directly input a number / the toggle adjustment is not in realtime, so when you grab the circle, and adjust - it will stay showing 'x' until released. so if you want 50. You have to guess first time, then can use the arrow keys to get correct.

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply. We are currently actively working on a whole new set of features for ESAPro2, including a bunch of fixes which will affect this window. A release will be uploaded in the coming weeks.
