archiving "show1" (write the show on computer)

Post by jacou »

The stick gets its program out of one map on the SD-card.

Default it is always named "show1"... so I assume.
Is that name an obligation, or can I rename that map?

I think about making an archive folder with different shows. I will name them according to what they "do".
I suppose I always need to rename them to "show1" after replacing the previous show on the SD?

But then, to do this I want to use the "write the show on computer" option.

So I take option "1024 channels" for my stick DE3.
"this may take a few minutes" appears; and than I get an immediate crash:

translated in english the only option is "close the program".

I love the program... but a beta is a beta I assume?

Software version: 20/12/2012
Bug: Software crashes when you write to the SD card

The card may be corrupt, try changing or formatting it.

a misunderstanding:
in this topic no SD-card is involved.
the crash occurs while "writing the show on computer". I don't even get the option to select the location.
If so, i would try to write to c:\

Is that where "write the show on computer" is meant to be for? Or do I understand the term wrong?
