is there anything special you have to do to get the Calendar Triggering to work?
our customer is having trouble getting it to run the programs at the time specified in the calendar?

clock is set and calandar scenes are in the global area (but not copied to one of the pages on the stick as we don't want user to get each ares set how they want then accidentally overwrite everything by scrolling threw the pages and hitting the global area)

DE-3 with the latest firmware and ESA PRO Beta (Dec 6th)

the scene must be assigned to the stick to work

We too are having problems with the calendar. We have various scenes that are linked to each other and are all assigned to the DE3 pages. We have built time of day triggers to start the scene in the evening and run a blackout the following morning to turn it off. It took several tries to get the evening sequence to start playing from the calendar at all, and now the blackout to stop that sequence does not run per the calendar.

We have the scenes assigned as a specific time of day because the sunrise/ sunset option kept crashing the ESAPRO Beta software. The calendar does not seem to be triggering as per the assigned times.

Hi,

Having quite a bit of trouble. I have the latest firmware & software and have tried to get the Calendar to time trigger on two different DE3 Sticks to no avail. I have also observed that the date is advancing the month instead of the date every day and the time is running slow (lost ten minutes overnight). I have done the following experiments to unearth a bug in the software or firmware and have also exhausted tech support from Nicolaudie America. I am sure that the code still needs to be fixed and we desperately need resolution for our client. I hope these notes can help you find the problem. I am happy to share our show file with you if that will help.

The Time Trigger instructions are confirmed with Nicolaudie America so and I've taken it several steps further since I am trying to find a sequence that will get passed the bug (if possible).

DE3 Stick Time Trigger Experiments April 2013

Instructions
Drag Cues Into Calendar
Edit Cues To Set Time
Save Show
Write the Interface’s Memory
Close Program
Choose Blackout Scene
Wait.

No Response IF
Unplug USB from Computer, leave micro end in interface, do not re-cycle power.
Unplug USB from Computer, leave micro end in interface, & re-cycle power.
Unplug USB from Computer, Remove both ends of USB > causes Split Display but NO Fixture. > Caused Delay & Freeze on Touchability.
Remove both ends of USB, Re-cycle power, Go to Blackout (S11) > Stays in Blackout, LTP, Time Trigger never take precedence
Remove both ends of USB, Re-cycle power, Do Not Change State (Scene1) > Stays in Scene 1, LTP, Time Trigger never take precedence
Close Software Program, Keep USB plugged in, Do Not Re-cycle Power, Go To Blackout (S11) > Stays in Blackout, LTP, Time Trigger never take precedence
Close Software Program, Keep USB plugged in, Do Not Re-cycle Power, Do Not Change State (Scene1) > Stays in Scene 1, LTP, Time Trigger never take precedence
Close Software Program, Remove USB & Re-cycle Power, Go To Blackout (S11) > Stays in Blackout, LTP, Time Trigger never take precedence
Close Software Program, Remove USB & Re-cycle Power, Do Not Change State (Scene1) > Stays in Scene 1, LTP, Time Trigger never take precedence

Helpful Notes
*When connecting micro USB to unit but not connecting USB side to computer, unit display immediately changes. It says it is running the same scene (Blackout) at the same time as color scroll, showing a changing color graphic and values but outputting the blackout.
*Clock runs delayed. Will not stay current.
*Date advances the month instead of the day on a daily basis.
*Looking in the menu on the Stick will override output and force fixtures into a temporary blackout.
*Unit will not perform while connected to software.
*Interface freezes often. If interface freezes or becomes delayed Re-cycle power is the only remedy.
*LTP, last manual movement will override Calendar until new Time Trigger occurs (Theory, Unproven)

Looking forward to your help. Thanks.

Hi,

I have some problem with the calendar triggering,
I have program a show with 2 Slesa UE7 with ethernet.
All my scenes are on the same area on 4 universe.
When i launch my scene in live mode everything is fine.
When i put the interfaces in standalone mode the sync between them work but the calendar events don't work??
So i have try to create 2 show (1 for each interface) , the calendar work but they loose their sync the 2 clock are different.

Note that i have try with the old esapro and also the new esapro beta.

Help me please
