Port Triggering in Stand Alone Mode
I can't seem to get port triggering to work in stand alone mode. I am using ports 1 and 2 accessed through the rj-45 jack. port 1 seems to cause it to turn off and on and port 2 does nothing. I can't get tools.exe to recognize the controller.
Re: Port Triggering in Stand Alone Mode
Hi
Tools won't work with the GA2. Instead it uses the new Hardware Manager (which will eventually contain all the features of tools).
Upgrade to the latest firmware using hardware manager here:
http://www.dmxsoft.com/global/ftp/hardwaremanager.zip
Make sure the ports are assigned when building your programs with ESA2. After this, the ports should work well.

Re: Port Triggering in Stand Alone Mode
I cannot see any other functions than firmware upgrade in hardware manager. And is also stuck in Initialize Communication. In the datasheet of the GA2 is says it works with Tools.

That's correct. Hardware manager only allows you to change the firmware, but we're working on an update which will contain all the features of tools.exe such as the port testing tool.I cannot see any other functions than firmware upgrade in hardware manager
Be sure your ports are assigned correctly in the scene settings of the ESA software
