Hello,
A problem with more or less all light control softwares is that they are mostly developped for big shows where bands have their own light engineers.
So, we can easily create complex automatics scenes sequenced or triggered by complex events.
That's cool for Shakaponk but there are lot of small concert places where we welcome small bands and don't have 4 days before to build up such show and in any cases, the show won't go with a microsecond timestamp!
In all these cases, the manual control via a color wheel is often the very best tool to drive our fixtures, at least RGB par of course, to quickly and accurately setup a cool ambient.
Easy Stand Alone is in fact not so far to be perfect for all, including for the on the go small scenes.
The best would be to setup some scenes like the soft currently provides and play it, that's perfect (few scenes at the same time like Freestyler, even if we are not in EasyPro ;-)), AND, in the 'Live' view, give us access to a color wheel with the possibility to select the fixtures it controls.
Just set these fixtures in LTP or HTP mode and that's all, we have the perfect soft!!!
Just a tip, the color wheel should be a disk or a square, not a ring!
I'm sure that would be to complex to code and VERY, VERY powerfull to use.
Kind regards,
Alain

ESA2 is our Architectural software. For live shows, you could use Sunlite or Daslight which has all of these features.
