SLESA-U8 firmware update on MAC using ESA2

Hi,

I have a SLESA-U8, and running ESA2 on Mac, as now I'm trying to connect my laptop with the U8, at the ESA2 Mode selection screen, it told me to update the firmware, how do I do it, or if there's any easy way to fix it?

Hi,

You need to use HardwareManager software which is included with ESA2.

1) Connect SLESA-U8 by USB
2) Load HardwareManager (make sure ESA2 is closed)
3) Select your interface on the left
4) Select Firmware button
5) Update firmware

Now try connecting to ESA2.
