Only strobe light fixture doesnt work

Hi.

I have a weird problem. I've setup all the light fixtures by myself. all work pretty well, except for one.
It's a strobe light fixture, very simple. only 2 channels. It works with a normal DMX controller, but when i switch to Sunlite2 controller which is working with a signal booster, only that fixture doesnt work. I know it's getting something on the channels, cause I hooked it up with a different fixture that doesw respond to the channel change...
any ideas?
Maybe it doesnt emmit strong enough of as signal? does the SSL-BC needs a signal booster? I do have one, so I dont get it. I've even connected the fixture through a direct cable to the signal amplifier alone and still nothing. Even changed addresses.

maybe this should go to a different forum...Hardware?

BTW, last official Sunlite Suite 2 SW has some annoying bugs...how safe would it be to install the beta?

Hi,

* Strob Problem:
It may be a dmx timing problem.

Try to see if slower DMX timings fix the problem.
1- open hardware manager which can be found in the Suite2 directory
2- go to DMX input/output
3- write the Medium enchanced compatibility timings by selecting this preset from the combo box on the right for the appropriate universes

* Beta install:
You can install many différent versions in different folders.
So, you can try the beta version and delete it if it doesn't work as you hope.

Thanks for the reply.

I'll check that when i can, too late for tonight. The bar is already open now. We r still using the old normal controller, just because the strobe light doesnt work.

I've already checked the Beta, it just took some time for my post to appear here. also i'm in china and the site doesnt work well here unless using VPN and thats not always n option.

How do I inform of bugs? or is there a place to searrch known bugs?

Problem solved!

I did take your advice. I used the Hardware Manager and tweaked the numbers by myself. The default setting for fast/slow didn't work, so i just tried different numbers till it started working.
