Trigger ports HE10 and motion sensor?

Post by pileo »

Hello,

I am an absolute beginner in electronics... Is it possible to use the trigger contacts (HE10) to use a motion sensor to trigger sunlite?

If yes, how to connect the motion sensor and the sunlite device?

Thanks!

Hi Pileo,

Yes this is definitely possible using the HE10 ports, below is a link to the relevant section of the hardware manual which has all the information you need.

Hope that helps.

To work your motion detector MUST have relay contacts that close when motion is detected. There MUST NOT be any voltage that feeds out of the motion detector. Just a switch closure from the relay. Connect the normally open relay contacts to the GND and P1 of the HE-10 port. There was a document that talked about it but my old link doesn't work anymore. Look here for a simplified connection. https://storage.googleapis.com/nicolaud ... asheet.pdf
