Suitable spare DMX chip

Post by sorcerer »

I've seen the advice of having some spare DMX chip. I have a SUIDI 7B V1.1 interface, so according to recommendations in Nicolaudie's website, I've ordered a couple of chips ADM485JNZ, just in case.
I ordered them online and at the website the reference was exactly the same (ADM485JNZ), however when I've received them the reference stated in the package is not exactly the same: in the bag says ADM485JN (without the last "Z")
I've experienced some problems with the company that sold me the chips (late shipping, lost package and found in another country...) so I'm not sure it's a reliable company, and I don't trust the chips I've received are the same that I ordered. I want to make sure if chip ADM485JN will be suitable for my Sunlite interface or I should insist on ref. ADM485JNZ
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about this. Please send me an e-mail and I'll forward it to the developer responsible

Hi,

the Z is the label for RoHS Compliant Part. Look up the datasheet.

Should be OK
