Only power LED lit on SIUDI 7A

Hello -

I've been running a show in a small theater successfully over the last few weeks. Now that we're done and I've moved all my gear home I'm having trouble with my SIUDI 7A (Suite 2 FC). Now when I plug the unit in only the yellow power LED turns on, no display, no red or green LEDs. This is the same on two different laptops and using the stand alone power supply I received with the controller.

Has anyone experienced this before? I've seen a couple of threads where Simon mentions setting the 7A in bootloader mode, but the link expired.

Any help would be appreciated - I've got some work next week and need to get this up and running again.

Hi Ryan

First of all try formatting or replacing the SD card and be sure it's connected the correct way up. If this doesn't solve the problem, start in bootloader mode and try to write the firmware:
power off your interface
create a shortcut on p2-p3-p4-GND ports
power on your interface
start tools.exe
update the firmware
power off your interface
remove the shortcut
power on your interface
start tools.exe
update the firmware again

A ball of foil can be used as a quick way to connect the ports.
