Calendar overrides

If I have a calendar event happening can I press a different look for a period and then manually/automatically return to the calendar scene?

Yes, if a calendar scene is trigger, you can manually override the scene on your interface by selecting another scene using the buttons available. When it comes time for another calendar scene to trigger, this will override the scene you have manually selected.
