WiFi (WLAN) connection with STICK-KE1

Post by discover »

How can the WiFi (WLAN) connection with STICK-KE1 be established:

a) Has the STICK-KE1 a built-in WiFi (WLAN) interface?

or

b) Needs the STICK-KE1 to be connected via Ethernet to an external TCP/IP Network where an external WiFi (WLAN) router is connected?

I cannot find any hint on WiFi (WLAN) here:

Hi there,
b) Needs the STICK-KE1 to be connected via Ethernet to an external TCP/IP Network where an external WiFi (WLAN) router is connected?
This is correct, the KE1 will need to be connected to the network via Ethernet which then has a WLAN also connected, then you can control the Stick using our apps.

Another option is to purchase a Wireless Nano Router (Link below), which can be connected to the KE1 and will turn it into a wireless device.

Hope that helps.
