master Flash....

Post by Partycompagniet »

Can anybody please tell me if it will be possible to let an audio signal, for instance a beat from a drum, trig a master flash that overrides the show currently running, each time it appears ?

Yes this is possible.

-Create a switch
-Select "sound to light" tab
-Select one of the blocks at the top..the one you probably one is the second to the left
-Select the channels which you want to apply the blocks to...eg dimmer channel
-The fader will split in 2, select the minimum and maximum values
-Close and save the button
-Open the audio analysis
-adjust the bass frequency range if necessary
-adjust the threshold until the FLASH light pulses correctly
-if you have no input, make sure it is enabled within the windows mixer

Thanx a lot.. I got a master flash button that respond correct when i right click on it.. So far, so good.. But it doesn't respond to audio signal.. I have audio input from a synth drum, and audio analysis seems to work ok, and detects the signal, but the lights will not respond anyhow...

If you go back into the button editor and go back to the audio tab. Check that the red lights are flashing.

If not, check that the rack is turned on (big red power button). Also adjust the thresholds in the audio analysis.
