Crash when playing back Video Cycle (AVI#)

Post by cscoppa »

I have been experiencing occasional crashes while playing back a cycle containing a video. The cycle is in the format AVI#VIDEO_NAME. When it happens the screen just freezes (stuck on the current frame of the video) and I have to kill Sunlite and restart it. I have looked in the directory and there is no DMP file created. I'm running the June 8, 2010 version with a SL512BC box running 1.15 firmware. The box is also called SIUDI-6C in Tools. Any ideas what could cause this?

Thanks in advance for any help!

would it be possible to upload your video anywhere so we can give it a test?

Is there any pattern as to when it crashes or does it appear to be random?

It's somewhat random. We play 3 40 minute sets of material in the same club every Thursday. There have been some shows where the crash doesn't happen at all. If it does happen it's usually only once per night. Here's all of the specs of the video that crashed most recently:

If it's ok I'd like to PM a link to the video (it's content that I'd like to not have in the wild) Also if it helps the laptop is running Windows 7 32 bit and FFDshow is being used to decode the H.264 and AAC audio within the video.
