Moving Head start position

When making a scene or or button to make a moving head do a particilar task how do I make sure the lamp is off until the head is in its starting position? What I really need is to be able to setup a series of steps and be able to loop back to a specific point and not to the beginning?

I once had to program this with Easytime, and I positioned the head with the shutter closed, 1 sec before I needed the head.
