problems with interface

hello, Im a user of sunlite for some years now, im using the SL1024EC, with sunlite suite. My problem is that the first time i run the software , the interface green light doesnt flash, so im not sending any signal. I have to switch off and on a couple of time the sunlite suite until i get the green light flashing and then everything works perfectly. Any suggestion? Im using windows vista, an acer laptop and a new interface.

Can you try on a different computer to see if it is a problem with the interface or not?
