Remote apps drop out
I have noticed that the remote app loses its connection with the controller quite easily and frequently. It then req the app to refresh or restart in order to work again. And sometime the controller it self needs to be power cycled.
Is there anything setting wise that can fix this?
Thank you,

The remote IOS apps do not seem to be able to unlock the controller remotely. Is there a fix for this? the app will not function if the controller is locked.

Re: Contact Closures - Binary Mode
I answered my own question by just trying it.
Binary works great, only need to close the ports of the digits you need, sweet.
Thanks!

Contact Closures - Binary Mode
Hi Simon,
When using the contact closures in binary mode, do you have to send the whole word at once? Also, does it have to be a full 8 bit word, can you send 4 bits if you only have say 5 wires? And then just access less scenes?
Thank you,

Re: RS232 Help - can not get to work
Thanks for the quick reply.
I am using Termite as my PC RS232 sending program, I see no option to change the data string format.
Sending 01 01 FF as an ASCII string will not work? I have to tell the software to send actual hex?
let me see if my other software has that option.
thanks

RS232 Help - can not get to work
Hello Simon, I can not seems to get the KU-1 or KE-1 to respond to RS232 commands and I need this working by Tuesday. I have read the "instructions" on the spec sheet. I have watched the video you posted on this forum, which was much more informative than the spec sheet. Still no response ...
