Re: Stairville MH-100 Beam Pan/Tilt

Re: Fade Out to blackout
Hi,
please edit the INIT scene and change all channels from "off" (red power icon) to "dimmer" (dimmer icon) with value 0.

Re: Creating a Startup Scene
Hi,
you can do that with the INIT scene. That scene is part of every fixture page and is loaded at startup.

Re: Running Sunlite from QLab using MTC
Do you know the preference tab "midi setup"? You can find it at software preferences -> midi setup. Here you can see all your in-, outputs and data Sunlite recieves and sends. I haven't worked with cycles yet. So that is what I think might happen: 1)Yes, you have to put all cues in individ...

Re: Before or after program, light been trigger
Do you use Stand Alone? Maybe there is a scene in the Stand Alone Editor that triggers your lights.
Did you leave the INIT scenes blank? (I'm not sure, if it affects anything when Sunlite is off. Can't test it at the moment)
Usually if you close Sunlite all lights remain in their last position.

Re: Question: Color Change Buttons
Hello Simon,
Bens showfile is not correct. Sorry Ben!
@Simon
I left you an old and a new switch in the show file. Please have a look at them to see the fault.
A tip: Use the layer settings to customize and rearrange the software's look to your needs. I gave you a small suggestion in your showfile.

Re: Micro PAN/TILT judder
Are you sure it won't work for you? E.g. what I did: -set the time for the pan/tilt bar in EasyTime to 30 seconds. That's equal to my slowest possible movement. -now I can raise the tempo knob from 0 to 90% to get from slowest to fastest movement. 100% is even too fast for the heads. If it's not eno...

Re: Micro PAN/TILT judder
Hello, I know that problem. First, please ignore the times in the pan/tilt editor. You can leave them at default (1sec) at any given moment. I don't think they are very useful at all. More important is the length of the pan/tilt effect in EasyTime. Expand the length of that bar to a very long time, ...

I appreciate that feature, too. For my COB LED BARs is it impossible to create any chasers for each pixel, e.g. no random strobe or meteor effects.

Re: midicon wheel pan/tilt midi config
I've a solution for you! But it's necessary that no scene or switch has a dimmer and a pan/tilt value at the same time. So seperate pan/tilt movements from your dimmer switches. 1. Go to moving head's page settings -> fixture patch -> activate dimmer for pan/tilt channels 2. Create a switch called &...

Midicon doesn't switch playback page
Hello, as I sad: Since I'm using more pages on the Midicon, I got trouble switching them. For the first start of Sunlite everything is fine, but if I change the left sided playback page several times, it will hang up. The console window still shows the different pages, but the Midicommand stays at o...

Re: No fluent movement of scanner
It could be something else. If you set up the scene by EasyTime using the Pan/Tilt effect, try to slow it down. Use a smaller circle or set higher intervall times. In EasyStep try the same fewer movements and more time. And check the scene's tempo knob In my experience, the tempo fader has not much ...

Suggestion: page options, EasyTime effects, backup, dimcurve
page options: To update a fixture you have to open the fixture window and select all fixtures to update. I searched a lot for this. Is it not possible to move it to the page options under patch tab? Is it possible that the software remembers all Speed, Size, Dimmer and Phasing knobs assinged to thei...

Suggestion: Movinghead delay, proper wheel rotation
To get the Visualization more realistic: Movingheads with start/stop delay, because MHs do not have the same position as DMX value says. It would make it much easier to programm. e.g. if the total time for a turn is 3 seconds, the head would never get the half of the way and back in same time, becau...
