Moving scenes from global to a zone

So in one of the installs i've done, we originally had only one zone, so I created all of the programs in the global area. They had me come in and add some fixtures to an adjacent room that need to be controlled separately. When I did that, i added the new fixtures to a new zone, and created another...

DMX Input

Is it possible to use the second DMX port on the STICK as an input for the DMX recorder option from Tools? Or do I need a USB interface to use that feature?

Re: after update firmware stick turn off random

A client of mine is having random turnoffs as well. I'll try turning off the IR port and see if that helps. There is an IR receiver on the STICK by default, right? You don't need the IR/Ethernet add-on to have an IR port?

Thanks,

Jeff

Re: Latest firmware... DMX jitter

There are actually only 7 devices on the dmx chain (the LEDs count as one device, as the power/data supply for the LEDs is the only device in the chain). To alleviate any concerns, the data corruption turned out to not be due to the STICK, as the data on the DMX line ended up being rock solid (gotta...

Latest firmware... DMX jitter

I have 2 clients that i've installed STICK's at (one I purchased through you once I became a dealer, the other I purchased through a dealer before then), both of them seem to have occasional troubles where the DMX seems to be inconsistent. At one site, they have 12 LED lights that seem to blink rand...

ESA Pro Crashes

I've been having crash issues with ESA Pro lately. Usually when I'm trying to move, copy, or paste really small objects (such as when trying to strobe LED fixtures). What seems to happen right before it crashes, is that an object can't be moved, and trying to move it makes it jump around in the time...

Re: speed difference betwen STICK and PC

OK, after playing with this some more, it appears that static values set to last for a certain amount of time are what are messing up the speed. They play correctly in ESA Pro, but once uploaded to the STICK, they last a very short amount of time. For instance, in ESA Pro, I created a scene that has...

Re: speed difference betwen STICK and PC

The computer recognizes the STICK, and you can change the STICK's mode to Live. You can even upload new shows, but the DMX output doesn't follow what you're doing, so you can't see to program new scenes. In STAND ALONE mode, the DMX output works perfectly, so it doesn't seem to be the DMX chip. I'm ...

Re: speed difference betwen STICK and PC

Ok, I'll send it when I get home to my other PC. One other question. While I was programming the other day, I somehow lost all output from the Stick while controlling it from the PC, but if I switched it to 'Stand Alone' mode, it worked perfectly. I wasn't able to re-gain control, so left it as is, ...

Re: speed difference betwen STICK and PC

I seem to get an error when I click on the 'Read Interface's Memory' button. I don't remember the full text of the error, but I remember it told me to refer to the Options menu.

What address should I send the show file to?

Thanks,

speed difference betwen STICK and PC

One other question. I'm trying to program a strobing pattern on some 3 channel LED fixtures. I get the program working perfectly with the computer connected, but when I upload it to the STICK, and disconnect the PC (or put it in stand alone mode) the pattern runs extremely fast. I haven't noticed th...

STICK Microphone

So the marketing information mentions the built in microphone, and I sold a STICK to a client with audio response as one of the features, however I can't figure out how to make it work. So far i've been using ESA Pro for programming, but I don't see any audio features in ESA Pro. Any help would be a...

Programming STICK with software other than ESA/ESA Pro

Hello. I noticed in one of your pamphlets, that it should soon be possible to program the STICK using software other than ESA/ESA Pro. I also notice that you list Sunlite Suite 2 as software that can program the STICK. When will this software be available? I'm specifying a STICK for an installation ...
