can i use the RS232 output on the stick KE1 to projector
Hi! I just got my stick KE1. I want to use it to control the shuttle on/ off and the audio on/off from my stick. The projector model is Sanyo PDG-DHT8000L. Can I just use the RS232 from the stick and connect to the RS232 input at the projector? or Do I need to add a RS232-DMX converter?

The RS232 socket on the STICK is an input, therefore you cannot control another device via RS232. The only output is DMX therefore you would require a DMX-RS232 converter. As these devices are quite rare they are not so cheap:

Thanks! I found a company who can modify RS232 to DMX but I still cannot get a hold with Sanyo to get the RS232 coding for that model of projector. :(
