Controlling Scene Fading

say I want to create an all blue scene that I will use in a cycle or easy show. I want the scene to fade in over 2 seconds but later in the cycle I want to use the same scene but have it come on instantly with no fade. Do I have to create two of the same scenes with different fade times?

yes, you will need 2 blue scenes. one with a fade and one without
