I have a programmer helping me write an interface between my .mp3 player and the Sunlite program. The interface between the two programs is going to be MIDI, which requires a first class dongle.
Will the features work without a dongle attached so that we can program without me spending $1000 for another dongle for him to have it attached to his machine too?

Re: Programming without a dongle
You don't need a first class dongle to have the midi functions. this is only the case with midi time code. MIDI is compatible with all Suite-2 products.
If it is midi time code you need to use, this function will not work unless a first class dongle is connected.
