Basic Newbie Questions

Post by [email protected] »

I am just getting started with the Easy Stand Alone and SLESA U5 interface and I need some basic help. I have read the manuals, visited the forums, and tinkered a lot. I can't get program to play correctly.

I can control all channels manually, and upload to the SLESA, so hardware and software work fine. It is my wetware that is having trouble!

I can't get scenes to trigger with the Stand Alone clock, and I can't get scene transitions to happen. Here's the application:

I need to control a marine fish tank light system - to start simple:

All dark from 20:00 to 06:00

At 06:00 fade up all channels to full power over 60 minutes

Full power until 20:00 then dim down to black over 60 minutes

Repeat cycle every day

Which clock triggers should I be using?

How does the "Loop" option figure into all of this?

Steps have a limited length of "wait time" but I want hours, not minutes.

Please help me.

Thank you.

You must use the "Appointed time" trigger and select 6:00 for your fist scene and 20:00 for the second one.
Then, select 60 minutes fade for your scenes and there is nothing to do with wait time since there is only 1 step per scene.

What do I do with "Loop" and the "fade" checkbox?

There is only 1 step, so always loop option is fine and select the fade option.
