Problem with channel 2 and 3 of the box, maybe the rest also

Hello,

I seem to have a problem with my sunlite SL512EC.
I Just bought a small laser with a DMX entrance (Boost Hyper dragon MKII)
I created the fixture in the fixture library (so far no problem)
Channel 1 is the shape choice
Channel 2 are possibilities par shape (turn, up, down)
Channel 3 is the scanspeed (how many dots count)

Now my problem:

When I connect the laser to my SL512EC it seems that the scanspeed of the laser (channel 3) is allways on maximum (so very slow) even without Sunlite running! In sunlite changes take no efftect what so ever! Dimmer Full, dimmer Off... The output window shows the right data but the laser doesn't get it!

Is it possible i did somthing wrong?
Or is my box not working?

BTW:
Channel 1 (shape) is doiing fine, channel 2 isn't testable because i can't see enough trough the problem with channel 3.

On my scanmaster he's doiing fine!

Can somebody help me please?

Hi there!

I am getting exactly the same problem with a Taidian TD-L036 Laser. As soon as I connect it to the SL512EC interface, the scan speed slows down, and whatever DMX value you set in Sunlite 2004, the Laser will not scan at the right speed.

If I connect it to a Behringer LC2412 - it is fine.

Given that my Laser is of Chinese origin, and the SL512EC interface works OK with all my other DMX fixtures - Martin, Clay Paky, Futurelight, I fear the problem lies within the Laser, but I too would like to know what the problem actually is, and of course if it is fixable!!!

Can anyone help?
