Stick-DE3 as a live interface

Hello,

I am thinking of using a STICK-DE3 in an application where it would mostly be used in stand alone mode but sometimes it would need to act as a live interface to Sunlite Suite 2. Is this possible or would I need a separate USB interface such as the SUITE2-EC to take advantage of all the live features of Suite 2 (such as MIDI and BPM triggering etc).

The DE3 can now be used with Suite 2 live with both USB and Ethernet
