ESA2 for Apple/Mac

A SLESA-U9 interface was tested OK on a PC. The ESA2 software was installed on an Apple computer. When the interface is connected via USB to the Apple computer, the yellow LED is solid ON, the red LED blinks quickly, which means the interface is working OK. But when the ESA2 software is started, zero USB interfaces are detected. The Nicolaudie hardware manual says the driver is included in Mac OS and should work automatically.

Please provide troubleshooting guidelines. Thanks!

Hi!
I have exactly the same problem with ESA2 on Mac and my SLESA-U9!
And worst, sometimes the interface is detected by the Mac but at any moment it can disconnect itself (i.e., in a middle of a show) and and the figures goes to black out or, in the automatic show if there is one recorded on the SLESA-U9.

Can't test my interface on PC, but tested on 3 Macs under MacOS 10.9 and 10.10.
Software in last version and re-installed on all the Macs.

Thanks for your help

Please send me an e-mail with the date of your ESA2 install and the serial number of your DMX interface. Also tell me which lights you see on the controller when it disconnects.

Also try with the Hardware Manager for Mac. Click the DMX Input/Output tab and set some levels. Leave it for a few hours and see if it disconnects. This will help us determine if it's a driver/hardware issue or an issue with ESA2

Hi there,

No it's not discontinued and the link is still on the website.

I have included the direct link below for ease of use.
