hi,
i need help to configure a blinding fixture. i use a midicon midi console and a 24 ch dmx console to input universe 1
i want to control the dimming of fixture with slider (dmx console) and a "flash" button( midi console) but i can´t do this because not allow to set a dmx input to control dimming and a flash button at the same time
mi intention is control the dimming with slider and a flash button (max dimming)

Hi There

If you want to:
-control the dimmer of a single fixture
-flash a single fixture

You need to:
-make 2 buttons, one for the dimmer control and 1 for the flash control
-map the DMX fader to the dimmer of one of the buttons
-assign 'this button is always on' if you want the DMX dimmer to permanently control the dimmer of the fixture
-map the MIDIcon to the button activation of the other button
-set the MIDIcons mapping as 'FLASH'. This assigns the FLASH priorities to the button so other switches using the same channel type are not released when the FLASH occurs

I've uploaded a demo show where I've mapped the dimmer of a single channel fixture to the first fader on the DMX console, and the FLASH to button A1 of the MIDIcon console.
