I am trying to use the app, but it won't click any buttons from the iPad, it just rearranges them on the screen. Also, the app won't find the remote when using from an iPhone.

Try with the latest app version for iPad and iPhone (it was updated on Monday)
Make sure the lock icon is clicked in the top right
