Problem: Dmx Output

Hi

I'm using a Lenovo Notebook since two years:
Well, since i updated the firmware to 1.08, with bridging the i/o ports, Sunlite Suite 2 doens't control all fictures anymore.
The fogmachine and one led par doesn't respond at all.
The dmx cables are fine, because its used by a pc with Sunlite suite 2 (different dongle) as well, without problems.

Furthermore, if i plug in a secondary monitor now, The dmxdongle fails completely. No dmx output wit s2 anymore.

What can i do to solve those problems?

Sounds like a problem with your notebook. Does it meet the minimum spec?

Hi Simon,

it worked well before patching the box and i don't think the nobebook is to slow:

quadcore i7 with up to 3ghz each
8gb ram
nvidia quadro 880 fx

any other suggestion or other user reporting this?

The best thing to do is to troubleshoot one item at a time. For example, try the official Feb build and see if you have the problem, try one fixture at a time, on a different computer, downgrade the firmware, etc...

Also try on the test tab of the tools application
