Hi,
I have a question that I didn't see in the manual so I figured I'd ask here.
I've been learning the software and getting ready to purchase the DMX adapter.
I rely a lot on my midi controller for playback. I was wondering. Is it possible to have two midi consoles controlling Sunlite at the same time? For example, I control colors and gobos from a Midicon and everything else from a BCF2000?
I'd really appreciate any assistance.
Thanks
Avery

Re: Multiple Midi consoles?
Hi Avery,
you can open a secound console in the console window. (Right click on the bottom of the console window)
Make sure you enable the secound Midi-Controller in "Software Preferences" -> "MIDI Setup".

...and remember to pair different MIDI values for each controller, or run each controller on different MIDI channels

I'm somehow stuck here when it comes to 'run each BCF on a different Midi channel' (as you mentioned also in the email).
From the BCF user guide there is only a global RX channel number to be set. This is the receiving side. Transmitting channels has to be set for each button and fader individually.
Is reprogramming each button what you mean by have the BCF on diffrent channels or do I simply miss some general setting?
Thanks, Martin

Re: Multiple Midi consoles?
If you were using multiple controllers you would use the global RX
If you want to use multiple presets on one controller you should assign different note and controller numbers
