hi

i have several sunstrips (10pcs) and would like to use the matrix effect like rain or butterfly.
but after assigning the effects and activating it there is no output on the dmx site.

they behave strange in the fixture matrix (there were i can see all fixtures and arrange them like on stage)
when i dimm channel 1 all lights are dimmed all other dimmers don t show anything in this view, the dmx output is fine.
only the view is not ok.

with this strange view i can live but i need the matrix effects on them.

the have no rgb dimmers but in the matrix definition i can choose any color, perhabs this is the failure?

now i tried it with 10 single dimmer fixtures for each sunstrip
but matrix effects (rain, butterfly, text,...) are failing with no output

if you send me your show I´ll take a look.
What I found out lately, that matrix FX from older shows don´t seem to work with the Jun 7 version.

I had EXACTLY the same question a few days ago ..... i put 10 vertical stripes next each other as a stage background and ... was trying to make use of them.

The problem is the Stripes are basicaly (just) dimmer channels and matrix and so so do only work on RGB channels (not on intensitiy channels)
I did played around with just waves and there size/phase/speed till i had a couple of OK Buttons ...

And i here because i was looking for a new beta to lay with, maybe (you never know) those effects can do intensitiy channels as well now ...

Matrix does now also work on single Dimmer channel if there is no RGB
