i suggest having a general posting area (i would have posted this there ) and i suggest that once a bug is fixed or a feature got implemented the relevant Topics gets there Suppect changed to something like [solved] or whatever.

There is no point me setting up a new forum for general posting, maybe if I had 100 users participating then yes...

I don't have time to search through all posts and mark everything as solved once the feature is available. Sometimes we integrate features which were requested 18 months ago. If someone else wants to do this, be my guest I'll make you a moderator!
